Looks like they are taking "it" and leaving the "wanna be" competition for the pretenders; after all, lives are on the line.
I know what you mean! I just wish John would have lined up the camera a little better so we could have seen the rest of that Honda and what it was attached to. There is a reason that they didn't have a Tecumseh, or a Briggs! I'm not sure why he had all that other junk in the picture...

How does one force a ring end up a transfer port?[emoji15]

Yes, I got it out.

Took a spell and sit and study on it, I did. Didn’t break it neither. [emoji106]

Small problem...
Levi’s buddy Tad to the rescue.
Ran the service truck out and replaces it in less than an hour.
210 bucks. For a used tire and service call.
I gave him an extra 20 bucks for lunch and makin my life easier.

Howdy men.
Today’s project: Nancy took the wild one with her to visit an old friend, so I had a bit of time to myself. Now I can move the welder around more easily.

I’ll add a shelf for clamps and gloves and such one of these times, but this felt good to get done. Seems I need to be on the top heat setting for adequate puddling and penetration, but it doesn’t last very long before it starts cutting out. Might go down one wire size to .030 and see if that helps.

On my 120 amp century I run .030 flux. Works ok. Still could use more heat. I've welded up 1/2" with it like that on a vertical weld and it holds just gotta preheat things first.
