I always thought that a tuned up Duramax out of an '05-07 truck, backed up to a built Alison or 4l80E in a '69-72 Chevelle, '69-'72 Nova or '70-72 Monte Carlo (or a '66-67 GT/LeMans) would be a blast. I could probably break a 10 second quarter and 25+mpg making around 525hp. Of course, functional HVAC, modern brakes, stereo and power steering would be reqt's too. Then go on the Power cruise in style and comfort, with reliability an power to spare!

I would do that to one of them cars but with a 5.9 Cummins and manual 6 speed to keep it old school

Had to go into Wal-Mart in Neosho early this morning and water was up everywhere. It's been raining ever since so I'd guess there's probably some flooding by now. IF your going to be out and about in SW missouri today, be careful!

The shop is still dry, though .
Found a Remington Bantam at a flea market today . $50 for it, but the recoil wouldn't recoil. Couldn't tell if it was locked or had spark so I passed.
Did find a pair of 15x70 binoculars.
Be able to tell the sex of a gnat at 1000 yards with these.
