Hey Studs,
Weather was awesome today and I did a little splitting/stacking today.
Mostly building up my garage stache of wood so the wife doesn't have to go out late nights, when I'm gone, or when its bad out.
Do you guys stack/store firewood in your garage, if so post some pics!
Btw...any ideas on how much wood this might be?
I'm guessing a 1/4 cord?

Not so good at measuring, but sure could be. I bring in around 1/3 cord plus in the garage, plus another 1/4 or a little under in the basement by the stove. So far this year I only have a wheelbarrow load in the garage, none in the basement. Need to get off my butt and get some moved. I will try to get pictures when I do and post. So nice having nice dry wood close for loading. Have some stacks covered this year so that will help more.

I get about 1.5 cord in these when filled. Been gonna slap some paint on them for awhile but it's pretty low on the priority list.

One more trailer load will fill the front rack and top off the back two. Should last a month or so until it turns real cold then it disappears in a couple weeks.

My wife would take a piece out of the middle and create a firewood avalanche.
If I'm gone, she just turns the furnace on.

That looks like it might be 1/4 cord, maybe a bit less.
