Can I use a wrap handle off a certain saw to go on my 036 or a 034 super? Did they ever make a wrap for smaller saws? I was watching The monkey beaver (August Hunicke) and one of his climbers gas an 034 with full wrap.
Just seems handy ........but so.e may see it as stupid.

I know a 357 wrap can fit a 346 if you drill one extra hole in the bottom, maybe try a 044 handle on the 036? Just an idea, I have never tried it.

I believe I read somewhere an 044 wrap will fit but only 1 bolt hole (on the side?) Will line up.

Yep, the 044 3/4 wrap can be made to fit the 034/036/Ms-360 fairly easily. Someone told me that at one time there was an
aftermarket full-wrap made for the 034/036/MS-360, but I was never able to confirm that.

I took an aftermarket 044/440 one and made it fit a 034/036 just to see if it worked.

I’ve taken it off since, but it was solid 80589624-60EC-4B95-A335-1B33CEC39127.jpeg 3F0368E8-1AFC-449E-8AC4-5C7428071D34.jpeg CD83C54C-9047-49DD-972F-74E98FD6CF34.jpeg

Bottom holes under the tank fit as is. The side bar on the last picture needed the length trimmed and a new hole drilled.

I’ve put an 044 handle and tall clutch cover/large spikes on an 036 and it looked kinda silly. I’m not sure if a 357xp wrap will fit on a 346xp, but this is what it looks like on a 357.

I loved the idea of a full wrap on a smaller saw so much I made one out of two 346/350 half wraps. Guy who welded it for me did a real bang up job, but it will be functional. I even made sure to leave room for the lug wrench..

It is the original handle with another section fit and welded so it bolts right on. Someday I'll get around to finishing this saw... just got an hda 199 in the mail for it. 20180121_212901.jpg 20180121_192859.jpg

So is it welded on the bottom too? Or do the 2 peices over lap and get bolted down?

Yes, it is welded on bottom. Had to grind out tank side weld to fit. The clutch side is offset and now the lowest point. I haven't had it setup with bar and chain so hard to tell if it'll be an effective kickstand or not.
