It might fit but I doubt it.

I think the next logical step would be to install the frog skin air filter cover back on the saw, then light the whole saw on fire...using the accelerant of your choice of course...then examine the air filter. I think that would really test the integrity of the frog skins. Thoughts? Go.

Hoping they provide

1. more air flow
2. more cool air
3. more air flow/circulation. Hoping that keeps the chips from building up in the grooves of the air filter.

thinking about the covers...

Guess I am theorizing that while the first cut might be fast. The next cuts may slow down because of…

1. Air temp rising inside the air filter cover

2. Because of not enough air flow because cover isn’t open enough ie. the vents will help

3. Because of chip build up because not enough air flow circulation ie. the vents will help

well that is the next step. See how they hold up to normal use.

It's always BEER:30 some where in the world! :beer-toast1:

mango - first time trying it. Pretty good!

they sent me this pdf to print out and cut out. See how these would fit for your saws. I'd like to come up with a few sizes that would be universal for pretty much every one here.

He's from Wisconsin, it's always beer thirty! A wise man once said, "you can't drink all day, if you don't start in the morning!"

I like the long thin one.

I'm not here to judge!

Send the saws that you want tested to me and I'll put them to the test. If I don't come back with video's or data about these test's. Just keep waiting. Lol!

I'm going to try a few saws on the Dyno tomorrow with and without covers. Ported and stock. See if this is really going to make a difference.

Did you find any significant gains on the dyno @paragonbuilder

Were you planning on lighting her on fire? Frog skins protect against fire...at least that's what I've gathered here so far. Plus...pics of your date.

Point: this is what the filter etc looks like after running it for almost a tank.

Any difference in how it runs? I like how it looks

Some of us don't care about looks and want performance. I don't own oem air filter covers for most of my stihls. I don't run them.
