I'd say it's the bearings need set in place not the squish or compression if you can't spin the flywheel somewhat easy then set the crank in the bearings

The squish and low exhaust don't have anything to do with the saw getting too much fuel

Basics Mike ........ ifn she won't pop on choke, stop right there and see if the exhaust is wet, or pull the plug and see if its wet

I'm thinking that it's probably still flooding on you

I'm not sure but even if it is it won't have high compression. I think there is another problem here

Turn the ignition switch to off and see if it pulls over easier

These are not oem saws and may not be able to handle the timing advance

Enough for what? I'd hope a grown man could pull over a saw with that compression.

It is the Cross MMWS jug w/o any addl porting. Base gasket delete. Spins well w/o decomp. Will have to try to pull it in off position to see if it is timing advance.

The saw turned over OK before I installed the cylinder, etc., a little snug but I figured it was the seals. Nothing major.

Perhaps that is my problem then. Will running it break it in, or do I need to smack it back & forth some more?
