Pretty good video.
I never thought about the gas being in the hose from the previous usage.
This chick is pretty smart.
Owns a small engine shop.
I've learned some pretty cool tips from her videos.

I always put some high test in the truck before filling the PE cans. I don't have 16 minutes to watch...does she touch on how Hi test gasoline will stay fresh longer than 87? Something about the poly chains being more stable or whatever...I'm no petroleum engineer. lol

Glad our local small mom n pop owned fuel facility has a dedicated 90 e-free pump that sits by itself over by the off road diesel pumps.
Bingo!
That's what I'll be looking for from now on.
It never really crossed my mind before until I watched that video.

Interresting Info... but here in Austria you can only get E5 or E10 or Diesel. Ethanolfree Gas you can't get here. It's like E Free Gas doesn't exist. lol
they are also not connected. all different systems here.

All the E free around me have dedicated pumps so no chance of contamination.

We have nothing but Sunoco race fuel by us that is E-free. $8+ a gallon for the lowest grade really sucks. The lowest grade is also 96 (?) octane, but I’m unsure if that means it burns slower than 87 pump fuel.

I always toss a few empty fuel cans in my truck for road trips. E-Free seems to be plentiful everywhere but NY, especially the lower parts.

Around here some stations have pumps with a single nozzle and you select your grade. Others have multiple nozzles at the same pump. Those are where I get my fuel. It's usually only 92 octane that can be found e-free locally.

The multiple nozzle pumps are also a big reason I get to replace fuel systems on diesels when people fill the fuel tank with DEF from the pump.

I have probably a half dozen gas stations within a 20 minute drive that sells ethanol free gas. All but a Sheetz station have stand alone pumps. The Sheetz station has a separate hose for the ethanol free. Luckily for me, the closest gas station is only a little over two miles from home.

I go to our local small airport and get 100LL av gas for my 2stroke stuff. It has fuel stabilizer in it already, and is guaranteed for one year. Everything starts very easy after sitting all winter with it in the tank. It’s around $6.00 per gal. But worth it knowing it has zero ethanol in it.

I recall hearing that E-free fuel can contain up to 5% Ethanol in the US, I get 90oct at a local Rutters here in PA but I've never gotten the time to go the water-seperation test on it yet.. always gotta sorta trust that the fuel-truck driver knew what they were doing and didn't accidentally mistake the E-85 tank for the E-0 tank or vise-versa

I appreciate living in a region where you have to search for ethanol instead of having to search for ethanol free.

As a preventative I use Star Tron Enzyme Treatment. Not cheap but the amount used is very little so it will last many seasons.
We have had electrical outages that have lasted up to 14 days so I want my generators and chainsaws protected and ready to go. I use only
non ethanol. I buy it in large quantities so when I add the Enzyme worries are no more. I have viewed the treated fuel 18 months on an it is clear.
