I resized and brought together drill size charts and put them on one page. I print extra copies and hang them
on the work bench and drill presses and tap sets. Thought some of you might find it convenient.

Nice chart but now rule of thumb if you don't have a chart .Drop one thread spacing from the base size .For example 3/8" 16 .3/8" minus 1/16" would be 5/16" .1/4 " 20 would be .050 thread spacing which would be .200 .The closest drill would be a number 7 which is .207 .
SAE threads are given in threads per inch .Metric is in thread spacing for example M10 -1 would be M 9 tap trill .
