I got a nicer cyl to use. The MV 8500 pump, when pumped to 4 on each side of its scale(vac/press) takes 7 minutes or more to leak to zero. Is this acceptable?

I want this saw back lol.

Edit. I have the partition still on, and ape tape (and fingers) on the ex port and over partition blocking intake and impulse.

Most than likely you are good to go.

A vac leak that will cause true running issues is more massive than people would ever suspect. I’ve had good runners with annoying idle tuning issues, but still running, that couldn’t pull any vacuum at all.
