I remember gooding off as a teen and my dad cuffed me over the head. Then i asked if it was supposed to hert and all can remember was picking myself up off the ground.
Mabe not then, but now i thank him for that cause it helped shape us to be who we are now.

My dad was the calm punisher lol mom on the other hand whatever she could reach was fair game. I had chores to do on the farm before I got to eat every morning that's motivation. I don't agree every kid needs capital punishment my sister didn't. Having structure and responsibilities that have to be met before your own self gratitude is about something.
