We should all also remember the age old adage, and avoid all the inner strife that is a future ulcer,
"Two tears in a bucket, if that don't fill it, Ftruck it....

That is messed up. And you are right. It seems negative feedback always comes from around the corner, instead of from the source where it would help the most...

Ok...someone recap for me as I am not trying to read over 500 posts:

Someone paid too much for a saw.

It was not as advertised when received.

Group pools resources and fixes saw.

Saw returns to purchaser.. no strings attached.

Purchaser thinks... "Still isnt as fast as I THINK it should be..."

Attempts repairs again... motor fails again.

Sends back to original seller with new hopes?

Group is mad their gift was not received as intended and forms lynch mob?

Seriously... I know it took me a while... but I haven’t had any contact with him since Aug 3rd when I blocked his number.

As I said in the pm you sent me, I wasn't accusing you of anything. I say what's on my mind, if I was accusing you of anything you'd know it. I don't beat around the bush so don't dig too deep

Randy remember when you built a saw for me...I called with some questions. We talked about it. I realized that what I needed was another saw for a long bar on a mill. I got rid of the saw, got a 394 x2... we are still friends.

People they are farking chainsaws....

For those that donated time, money, parts... you did a good thing for the right reasons. When I donated a load of hardwood to someone needing firewood to stay warm only to find out they gave most of it away.. I just didn't give them anymore wood. It hurt yes... but I slept at night.

If most of you knew about the raffle 359/7 hybrid issues I would be tarred and feathered. Cole has been honest with me, me with him.. and last report he likes the saw. Grown men working through issues. Next time he is in town I owe him a steak dinner and hope I can call him a friend.

If the saw has made this circle... let the owner get what is coming to him. Walk away...its just a stupid chainsaw.

Anyone got some pie and a cool glass of milk?

I don't know much, but even I can tell you that it is substantially more complicated than your descriptions. Probably easier to go back and research JMS's track record starting early/middle last year. Should consume your nighttime reading allowance quickly. Matt...

It seems very few "men" have balls enough to talk to another man about how they feel.

Instead they talk about the man behind his back.

It's not the saw that bothers me........it's the treatment.

I get it.. I really do. A lot gave from the bottom of their heart. Parts from their stash, money they sweated and toiled for, etc. I GET IT.

Letting them get under your skin and showing it... they win. I guarantee they aren't losing sleep.

That's it and I will say no more... I'll go back to playing Lincoln logs with my kids.

How long to skin a chinchilla?:D
Wouldnt know. pelts worth $20-$40. Pedigreed animals are worth hundreds, the right animal (color/ genetics) could be worth $10's of thousands. Most expensive one I have seen in person was imported from Denmark. The breeder paid $8000 for it. Damn animal got stressed on the trip and gnawed it pecker practically off. Now it's an $8k pet. No refund. We haven't taken a hit like that. Most expensive one we've lost was a grand show champion black velvet only worth $1200 (I didnt pay that for it). Sucker heat stroked.

Those animals are a real sore spot with me.
