Any ideas on throttle cable for a Husqvarna 39R?

The throttle cable on my Husqvarna 39R finally let go for good. It was broken when I got it. I used a wire crimp to "fix" it. That lasted a few years, but now there is nothing left to crimp to. The cable is NLA. From scouring the internet, it seems the 240r and 245r used the same cable. Anyone have a locked up unit that I could get a cable from, or any idea of a different cable that might work? This thing is too strong to put it out to pasture over a cable...
