60cc Shoot Out

OK.......don't read too much into this. lol These are all freshly built saws, and after break in things can and do change. The 357XP is brand new.......so it's still stiff. The 562XP has the most run time, but it just had the fuel curves reset and ain't quite found it's happy spot yet. The 6100 now has some more drilling done to the carb. To be fair, the 6100 has had the most attention. I've been in it several times.

Now......the chain. It was not freshly ground even in the first video.......but it was cutting damn good. There was a little dirt on the back of the log that I missed cleaning off when I pulled it out more. So, the 6100 had the freshest chain. To use the same chain on all three saws I shortened it about three drivers when I used it on the 562XP.

Now, y'all are up to speed.

Cut times:

9.51, 9.47, 9.53

Cut times:

9.69, 10.37, 11.16, then I fattened it up. I could tell that the hotter it was getting the less power it was making.

After adjusting the carb. 9.83, 10.20

Now, I think with the right tune, this saw might be fastest.

562XP 18" bar square ground chain.

Cut times:

10.07, 10.47, 10.63, 10.44

This saw is probably the one that will be most consistent. With more run time it might get much stronger too.

Less baffle removal in this muffler than I have done in the past. It's a lot quieter.......and I think that is a great thing.

Ever since running one, I've been thinking of selling off a bunch of my saws and just getting one 562. Would I miss my other babies? Or forget all about 'em, that's my quandary. Maybe I'll find another way. One day...one day.
