395 hooky

I added a rubber av limiter in there but I was told they do not come with them. Why bother to thread the hole if it doesn't get a part? Waste of time/money..

Anyone use the stop watch? Saw looks awesome after Scott.

I get 33 sec stock, 24 sec ported.

27% gain by my calcs. I could be off on the math a bit, but gains impressive nonetheless.

Might be full wrap used the av limiters

5x16 screw supposed to go where that limiter is. Is optional for guys running very long bar.

They moved the limit pins further up the case in the middle of the 394 production but left the old locations. Every not messed with 395 I’ve seen had them in the upper locations.

In the pictures I see the PTO side one in the upper location but the flywheel side hides behind the carb shelf.

Agree’d! If it needs broke in more, should be well in the 30’s after.

Amazing how much gain can be gotten from 394/95 when done right. I had a friend try a ported 395 done by someone I never herd of. The moparmyway 394 flat stomped it. I was thinking if that 395 was any stronger than stock. There is a lot to gain when someone who know what there doing get ahold of one. Good job mr monkey.

How does the power compare to your ported 660’s and such? I know the saw is heavier, not wanting to go there...lol
