Thanks guys for your help. Much appreciated
Also heard dealers charging $100 just to do a quick auto tune hook up to see codes.
=$437usd. If your price is in loonies it's a good price. It’s a complaint I hear a lot from guys in my neck of the woods. So do you guys think that saw in pictures worth $575.
If it’s well used like the 2171 in the pictures and never rebuilt or tuned up ever in its life, expect to spend 50-100$ freshening it up (fuel line/filter, impulse line, plug, air filter... is the bottom end tight and topend in good shape?) plus your time if it’s worth anything to you. Ask the question when was the last rebuild? If never then the price goes down.A used 372/2171 is typically a 450$ saw give or take a little depending on condition. Imho
Thanks for your opinion I will take it seriously
Thats pretty overpriced. That’s a 800$ saw new here in my area . I know because I bought one before a couple years ago. New 572’s are 8-900$ ish here depending on the dealer.I did in my searches find a brand new 2172 for sale 2 hours from me. $1047 plus shipping.
Gotta figure in the 30% exchange rate. $900 saw in the US is $1100 CDN.Thats pretty overpriced. That’s a 800$ saw new here in my area . I know because I bought one before a couple years ago. New 572’s are 8-900$ ish here depending on the dealer.
How about a 500-550 saw in the states.Gotta figure in the 30% exchange rate. $900 saw in the US is $1100 CDN.
Almost worth it for you guys to just ship a saw from the USA when you want to buy one. Probably a pain though.Gotta figure in the 30% exchange rate. $900 saw in the US is $1100 CDN.
