2101 piston cylinder question

My buddy has a 2101 in for repair. Will a 395 piston and cylinder fit???



Or are any p&c kits still available for 2101???

395 will fit in 2100 jug but the jug has to be dropped to set squish. The case also needs to be relieved for the intake block and carb to fit.

No, the 395 cylinder will not work without lots of machine work.

The 2101 piston crown is 1.4mm taller than the 394/395 piston. That's definitely lots of machine work. Though it still may be cheaper to pay someone to machine it than it would be paying for a good piston. But then you're gonna want it ported.

No.

I just rebuilt a 2100 and 2101 and I can tell you the answer to that question is no.
Check Ebay a lot...... parts do apear.

394/395 clutch and drum fit which is a bonus
