With a pipe outlet or dual port with deflectors?
I haven't tried but if you're interested I will pursue options to put a screen on it like the lakeside mod.
Cool, now i just need to come up with a muffler for ya
I think I have 3 left from the last batch. I'll be having some shop time next week if you want me to pursue screening one of them
Yea, building a hybred 372xt bottom end with 362xp cylinder, then jonsered plastics lol. I wonder how the 362 cylinder would port compaired to the 365 special cylinder?
Hmm i even have some crank stuffers off a 575 crank that seem to fit 372 crank lol
Don't know. I've never tried one to see.
Isn't that kinda going backwards?
Its farm boys using what parts are on hand
In that case, carry on sir!
I did use fence pliers to crimp a muffler once.
362xp only has dual transfers, and they aren't vertical... they kinda twist around the cylinder at an angle. I have no idea what that means, but it's the only cylinder I've ever seen like that.
I'm going that route on a 372 with a two-piece head.
Is that a Hutzl Muffler, are they more free flowing that oem Husky top deflect?
Farmertech I believe. I have some here if you would like one. It's close to the same area. I'd have to do some ciphering to know for sure
Use a cutoff wheel to make a slice 1/2 way through the pipe outlet and insert a screen. Use a screw to hold the screen in. I'll try to find a pic of one I did. I sold the saw and it needed an arrestor.
