Will be having a firewood oriented GTG and races on Saturday October first.
Come early stay late if you like.
Some firewood cutting and splitting in the morning.
Log cutting races in the afternoon.
Bring your stock or ported firewood saw with round filed chain.
All runs by grudge match challenges.
No prizes, cash or awards of any kind.
Antique saws welcome.
Dedicated racing saws welcome to make demo runs.
If there's any interest in hand saw races or axe throwing competition let me know.

It's a chainsaw GTG first and foremost, but, if folks would like something else added to the itinerary I don't see why we can't accommodate if possible.

I’m in tentatively, depends on fire season, school, deer season, and elk hunting. I would also like to start off the *s-word talking by saying @bradb123 i officially challenge you to a race, my 064 vs your 592xp

My great grandfather (make that late 1880's to early 1900's) was the go to guy for sharpening those saws.

He eventually went to work at McLaughlin in Oshawa, Ontario as a saw sharpener. The old Buick and LaSalle cars had their body sheet metal hung on ash frames.

Unfortunately, he never passed that skill along.
