PAST 2016 Iowa spring GTG

I now have a running Remington Mighty Might to put up against 67L36driver and Struggle at the GTG. Get the Kitchen timers ready. May have to start the first cuts Friday night just to make sure we get the cut done by Saturday evening.

Hopefully the building will be here the first week in april.
Maybe with help we can get it put up before gtg and at least have a roof and walls!

huh... Did the date get bumped back a couple weeks? I was thinking Chelsea was just before Greenwich NY GTG?

Either way it's in the phone calendar now!

Nathan and a mighty mite should be interesting. I can't get my clutch to hold with the extreme power my saw is producing. Even a 1/4" with 10" bar wants to slip.

Sweet. Struggle needs a handle with the oiler button. I need some time still to figure out a way to modify the clutch for more grip. I have a old standard saw and a newer "deluxe" maybe we should build a saw with parts at the gtg.

Hey guys,
I was going to put this on the sale/trade post but thought I'd give ya'll first crack since gtg pass off is easier than shipping.

It spins really nice flat rivets. Haven't messed with it past spinning a few rivets. It's pretty interesting how it operates. It automatically advances the spinner anvil forward as you spin the handle. Oregon knock off spinner rivet (left), this spinner (center), OEM (right).

Was just thinking trade for Dolmar/makita/etc. or $50/obo

Good deal. Glad it has a good home! Easy way to do spring cleaning and know that what I bring to the gtg will not be coming home with me. [emoji1]

Next up will be a big horizontal belt sander. Shop smith brand with extra sanding belts. I know some people use these to dress bar rails. PM me if interested.
