Know what you mean getting used to them not up to tune. Wife just had her cats acid etched and it's like two cylinders were added.

Whats acid etching cats?

New cats were 1400 without shots.

OP I have a tail gate bonnet for that rig. If you do paint it's yours.

It surprisingly has more power up top. I find it wanting to go to 3500 a lot easier now whereas before I'd hardly be able to get it to 3000! The top end on the old engine was tight. Worst leakage was 12% on cylinder 1! I bet a new set of bearings in the old engine would get you another 100k out of it.

250 mile oil change. Slight glitter which is normal for a new engine. Very happy with what I saw come out. And, had to do a rotate and balance!

Awesome bro. It takes a special fulla to completely ignore the storage indentations molded into the top of a balancer and just leave the cones out willy nilly...

The balancer where I work has a hand written note taped to the bottom of the monitor.
It reads "your mother does not work here, pick your own *s-worde up".
I believe my coworkers are illiterate.
