This old cylinder has lived a ruff life
There's some nice scratches and nicks in the plating. Looks like it was seized real good once anyway but that's what rings are for.

The plastic was clear coated and I didn't notice so the parts washer removed it
I'm on my way to get a can of clear. Lol

Cylinder is finished and on.
I cut 040 off and 035 from the chamber
Finished up at 103 123 77

All in non-critical spots, I'm assuming? Reason I ask is that I have a pretty scratched up ks 064 cylinder that I'd like to put into service. Score marks going through the plating and extending down the bore... I'll get pics.
Nice build, btw.

A scratch don't bother me
A piece of plating missing or nick doesn't bother me either as long as the rings don't cross it.
I have a couple buckets full of 064 cylinders if you need one
