Trying to find one of these, got a cylinder in great condition but hard time finding a decent make piston, like to use this one on my next build.

Trouble is I live in Canada and by the time it gets here it would be about 200$ with exchange rate and shipping.- not to worried, I can just shelf that one I have until I locate a piston, Had one before and found there was no big power gains unless work was done on the cylinder- just finished up a 372 ported cylinder saw and have been cutting firewood with it the last couple of days, performance- wow, my 390 is also ported and for larger douglas fir - great combo.

Guess what I found on my shelf of pistons yesterday looking for something else, thought I had one from a guy that was going to rebuild his and never got around to it, OEM rings and all, will be running today, if I have time to finish it.

got another problem, using a K model crank they have a hole where the clutch bearing looks like it should be for greasing the bearing but instead it leads back into the crankcase causing an air leak, change cranks or is there a way to plug it permanently, all together and it showed up on a leak pressure test,???

I don't see there is a problem. The bigger saw 3120xp use 3120k cut off saw crank from the factory long long time ago.

Maybe they have a different setup for lubing the the clutch bearing, not sure, but did the fix as seen on the second thread relating to this problem and now it runs like it should and passes vac-pressure test 100% and runs great.

I've never heard of the problem you described. There must have been a flaw in the crank. Even on a cutoff saw any leak path from that drilled hole to the crank case would cause an air leak and lean seizure. Maybe that's what the original failure was cause by.

The clutch has a seal on it and the idea is its bearing gets lubed from the inside out, the second one I have run across - info from another member

It was a complete saw and they are made that way to lube the bearing from the inside out for the clutch (which has a seal) - I guess to protect it from concrete dust, it has been plugged off by the help of another member who ran into the same problem and this is 2 I have had this way-- leak down test 100 percent and have no worries about the way it was done.

The drum bearing is lubbed by the mixed that leaks out from the crank on cut off saws. Vac test just tape it with duct tape.
