There's still plenty of of time left. I hope to get the boys out a few more times.
She should have killed one Thursday, she's pretty picky on her shots and he was doing one of the Periscope deals. I let my gun at home when with her cause it likes to shoot. Same bird this morning but more wise believe. [emoji38]

Was sitting by an open window this morning waiting to shoot whatever is raiding the bird feeders when a 9- 10" tom walked through the back yard. Would have been a nice 40 yrd. shot if I had another tag.

After comparing notes with my neighbor I find out that my bird feeder problem is a bear. :(

Our spring season closed today, I went out in the morning before church. Heard some clucking off in the woods but nothing came near me. Everything was very wet from a night of rain, I wonder if rain makes turkeys stay put?
From my humble experience yes.[emoji38]

Around here they normally go to the fields when it's raining.

I have had so many come in silent on rainy days. Got to hurry up and wait.

Now your seasons closed will you still go out and see them

I would like any videos photos of the gobblers videos from you fine men
Better than YouTube videos more true too life

I'm going to be cutting the fields for the next few weeks so I'll keep my camera handy. I see turkeys all the time when deer hunting in the fall, too.

A week before our season opened I watched a big flock feeding in the wheat field out back. They were there till almost dark. Was raining hard all day. Haven't seen them since.:BangHead:
