Speaking of China some weld on aluminum billet fuel and oil caps came in a few days ago via Amazon.ca
Got all my carbon fibre sheets, now just waiting to shut down slaying trees for the winter and get back on the YZ bikesaw project.

Picked this little gem up at auction. Rebadged Remington Mighty Mite. Even got the original manual with it. Happened to have a kit for the Tillotson carb on hand, so was able to get it running, now just need to do some maintenance on the oiler, and a few other things.

Went auctioning today, picked up a few projects. Everything had been sitting unused for many years. While very dirty, the saws don’t look to have been abused. Compression feels very good. Got 2 extra bars for the 028, a lightly used hard nose, and a new rollomatic. The electric got thrown in with 009. The DR trimmer is the electric start pro model and looks like brand new once I got it clean. It was so filthy I paid a whopping $3 for it. :D

I’ve got this 372 because it had erratic tuning. Would idle at 3000 the surge up to 4,000 and quit. Ran good in wood but fight the tune on the tach. So I was suspecting an air leak. Not very familiar with the Huskies. I am not seeing any leaking around the actual seal but I’m getting it through the Collar on the pto side. Before I took the saw apart it would hold around 7 psi and then slowly leak. When assembled is there something sealing the top of this collar? Or is it a confirmed seal?

OK when I took it apart I didnt see any o ring so obviously someone’s been in here before does the worm gear and the clutch hold it down? Thank you btw.

I see now it’s under the collar.

Yes the clutch tightens against it

OK so I just took the collar out and I don’t see any remnants of any o ring. I’ll order one now

The o ring usually disappears. I've only ever found a couple. Replace it and pack the sleeve with grease. Also make sure the face of the clutch that seats against the sleeve is flat so it can aid in sealing. Just a few things I've picked up that seem to help with the somewhat flawed design. I will normally go with a new sleeve also.
