Maybe it was a failed prototype?
I just remember seeing it on his ebay page.

Suspension and tires??? Brakes???
10" drums in back and stock 9" drums up front. Super sketchy!
Super stock mopar springs out back and turned up torsions up front. Stock tire all the way around. LOL! It was fun! U could get he totally sideways at 30mph by blippin the throttle from 2k to 3k:D kinda a project that never got finished. Then i think dad over reved it and and cracked a piston skirt. The wer keith blacks. Thats what happens when the keys r at home and him and my buddy get off of work before me:eek:

When I first got my Mustang (and mind you the magazine guys said they liked the suspensions in these) I concluded that the suspension was would be the first thing I would do, because if I did the engine first it was not long for this world (and perhaps me with it).

I'm not into making black line graffiti, I'm onto showing the other guy my tail lights!

Agreed! I never got around to gettin rims and tires for it before it got blowd up. Kinda took the winds out of my sails and it was around the time i left the nest and bought my house. Extra money became mortgages and utilities at that time. Nothing like the looks of some skinnys up front and some fatties out back. And the dart has the low wheel skirts on back fenders for hiding the cheater slicks:D didnt fool many people when u start it though through full 3" exhaust and mufflers and it sets off every car alarm in a 3 block radius:eek: LOL!

Is when the rear end is swapped. A slant six needed an 8&3/4 never.
Exactly correct. Factory was 9" on all 4. The 8/3/4" was from another A body but mostly a v8 car with 10" drums. My stock i think was a 7/1/4". That car was fun with the slant 6 too. Took a while to get there buut with a road gear she just hummed along at 100mph on the back roads. I think i kick myself more for scrapping the slant 6 over blowin the 440. Alot of guys r gettin big power out of those motors with little work and they r bullet proof

Slant 6 is about the best motor design on the planet! Straight 6 is even smoother than a V8, and the slant eliminates the need for offset piston pins (almost every engine has them, they make em idle smoother, but not needed due to the slant)! 427 Ford did not have em, they wanted Hi RPM performance, and did not care about the idle!

Most people are not even aware of these things!

I hear ya, when I first got married I had 3 Classic Stangs, 2 - 68 GT Fastbacks and a 70 Boss 302 Body, but no garage to keep them in. A few years later, the Stangs are all gone and I'm driving a 80 Pinto Station Wagon and haulin home wood in the back of it! (Was my first "new" car, only option was an AM radio!

Don't feel bad, Sling Blade, could have filled the garage full of six cylinders that my buddies and I chit canned.
The only reason we put big blocks in everything was, there wasn't bigger ones to be had. Lol
