Yea probably so since they are such an inferior product. Hard to believe they even sell any

Now don't get all butt hurt because we've had different experiences. All I know is when I do 390s for one of the largest Husqvarna dealers in the country, he has me do extra mufflers because he knows they don't last. I've also begun using Stihl type fasteners with locking heads in the cylinder bases. Just the facts....

Now, strangely, the 385 never loses a jug bolt.....could it be possible that the added piston weight causes a odd vibration? Could that be why Husqvarna started limiting RPM to 13,100?

Or, maybe I just want to piss all the Husky lovers off so that they stop getting me to work on their saws?

I'm just not scared to tell people my experiences.....and I'm not willing stop just because it causes your panties to become impacted in your ass.

Good Morning !

Damn, Mike. He's not wrong. I work on lots of Stihls, Dolmars, and Huskies, and when the Huskies are in a logging environment where they're being used everyday I find the exact same thing to be true

385 around me has always outlasted the 390, big end rod failures are usually what go wrong, maybe it's just in my area, idk but that's the reason I built a 385 instead of a 390. I do find the hyway muffler to be a better muffler then the OEM as well, they get crushed here with regularity.

I stopped using AM dp muff covers on MS 440 + MS 460 because the pro guys often crush them, the metal is thinner. Now I just drill some holes on the high right side of the OEM muffler cover. Does the same thing, and is stronger and has fewer problems.

And, BTW, the reason we respect Randy's opinion is because he does more saws in a month than most of us will in our life times, and because he calls it the way he sees it.

It is not because we worship him like a religious figure, we just respect his knowledge and opinion, and the helpful information he has shared.

Well Mike....it is Mike I gather.

You seem to follow me around posting rebuttals. Maybe you just wanna argue, but maybe you care about what I post? I'm not sure, but I will be posting my thoughts for you to read as often as possible, since I now know how much you care.

Love, Randy

When I first got to know Randy, he gave me some advice and I admit I was questioning the necessity of what he was telling me a time or two. However after finding him to be correct 100% of the time I tend not to worry, as his word has been good as gold. So yeah, I take it as gospel. He's earned that respect.

Now on a more serious note, does anyone know how to keep my new Husqvarna from tipping over? Lol
