I'd blame muffy screws coming out, on who ever built, put that saw, not the manufacturer.
Putting muffler screws inside where they can rattle out and go into the cylinder ain’t the best thought out idea imho. I always check them after the first heat cycle or loctite them.

Yep. Hard metal objects flopping around in the cylinder ain't cool. If I'm gonna lose one, I'd rather have it on the ground and not in the cylinder. Loctite FTW! :campeon:

Interesting new tech about the 462....the top cover is not held on by screws. They are actually camlock fasteners. 1/4 turn and they are loose/tight. Commonly used in the aviation industry (my background - Aviation Maintenance).

If you've never used them before, they are superb. The entire F-16 (among most others) cockpit electronics are held in place by them.
