Anyone directly compared the new 462 to the new 572 yet?

The one I ran in ct wasn’t much behind ported 372xpw’s we compared it to. Quite a bit smoother and a wider powerband than a 372 as well.
Pretty sure I ran the same one as you but my experience was totally different.

Dave I feel the winning factor in the difference between the husky and the Stihl may come down to the $$ if Stihl overprices itself outa the market with the 462 :)
462 hasn't made it here yet so I'll reserve any opinions till I run one. I don't care what specs say about weight.

It's a Stihl, it has issues already.lol
Yup! True Dat.
Damn things just scream and cut all day. They ain't no good. Crap, they even make money. I mean I can't like something like that. I'd have to throw my tools away and find something different to do.

If the 462 is the same as a 461 power/torque wise and with the air injection/spring av setup it should be a great saw. I’m a fan of how a 461 runs... even bone stock they are pretty good. If it’s not as powerful as a 461 that’s a step behind imho.
