One of my customers was losing a PTO bearing about every six months on Husky Silver. He switched to Dominator and hasn't lost one in about 3 seasons now.

That really got my attention.

Probably a good choice for everyday use, not so sure about saws that sit around in a damp basement, shed or whatnot. I'm still running K2:thumbup:

As it pertains to crank bearings. I dont think there is any replacement for quantity. Especially with the newer Mtronic/Autotune says which use less fuel and as a result are less lubricated.

In noticed a fairly decent difference in fuel economy when I strato saws entered my fleet. Run time per tank increased noticeably. Factory recommended oil ratios didn't seem to change as far as I'm aware.

The factory reccomended oil ratios didnt change but the amount of oil lubricating the engine did. Better fuel economy = less oil lubricating the motor.

Ya that my point. A company like Stihl knows their customers may have several products from saws, blowers, hedge T's, weedeaters etc. I imagine the last thing they ever want to do is change that across the line 50:1 ratio. I'm looking at a used KTM 300exc (ex-w or.. something in the US) but its ktm's 300cc enduro 2stroke & the factory specs 60:1!

I absolutely hate that oil

I’ll send you every ounce that I have left if you wanna cover the shipping

How much you got?

This is the new stuff I found at a local joint. It was only $5.79 a quart.

I ain't too proud to use bout anything. You guys can keep the boutique stuff..

How much was the Schaeffer's 7000 again?

If it's less than $8 a quart, I may have to try it.

I paid $30/gallon. I'm surprised to see the Stihl name on that champion oil. I wonder how they managed that.
