Gravy job today, just had to set a little bio deisel tank

Is that what you do, work for/own a crane company, Deets? Or perhaps iron worker/rigger? Or project management (truck interior specialist)
Do you ever work with cranes big enough to need another to set its jib?(200-300T Demag ,Grove or similar)When I first glanced at your pics with 2booms I thought that was what was going on, closer look and neither was big enough. But you probably got a monster back at the shop. I'll try to dig up some crane pics to, they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, cranes that is, not the pics...
Stay safe and have fun, I'm jealous fer sure (I need to get a real job again, I miss it)

It's a Grove, Cattani is the crane rental company
Gotcha, I glanced at it via Google, it was all written in a foreign language (meters) and everything that popped up was euro.so I assumed, and that still isn't working out so well for me...

Nope, Paragon. They makes dies for big stamping presses
Paragon is right around the corner from Mill Steel, both are in my stomping grounds, I live 15 min away from there, Coles on the other side of town.
I've ran out of pretty much every steel plant in Mi(started hauling steel pretty young, and there's only so many), we were house trucks for mill steel and Lee steel and mainly hauled master coils in and slitted coils out.
Here the old school covered wagon I hauled at mill steel. I could keep up with most the young bucks with sliders kits on their trailers lol. One thing that was a bummer is coils that are so tall they hit the tarp/bows lol.

You MI guys have some weird over the road laws with your 25 axles per truck and your frost laws. I'm not a trucker but I've never in my life seen a truck with so many axles in NY.

Here's a woodstove at a bar in town.
Funny story. The owner and I were talking firewood and he started showing me the stove. Well he just tossed 3-4 large chunks in and then had the loading door open then shut, then the ash door, shook the ash grates to show me and the damn thing was glowing red hot above the loading door so she was chooching hard. Someone driving by outside called the fire department about all the smoke.

Meanwhile the owner and I keep carrying on talking, fire trucks are pulling up outside, police, more responders... The fire chief runs in and asks if everything is ok and what he put in there, said there was calls the building might be on fire lol. Fire chief took a quick look in the firebox and was satisfied.

My guess was he probably caught some creosote on fire and it burned out or it was just belching a good cloud from the recent reload and opening it up to show me. His chimney is probably close to 50' tall because it's a 3 story historic building with 15' ceilings.

What's up Marshy.
You guys have some weird gun laws lol.
Ours aren't the largest on the road either .

Pretty sure they run heavy by the Canadian boarder by Niagara, 9 quad 9 trailers and maybe some doubles, but for the most part we do run pretty heavy here, typical load I'd leave out of the warehouse with was 80-100k and the truck weighs 50k.
