Maybe Ben can take a look at the old and new formula and give us an opinion
I actually think they changed it three times. The original msds showed ohenol and ester base oil blended with PIB.
There is nothing that nakes red armor soecial as compared to husky xp, citgo air cooled, etc. Other than its ridiculously expensive.

I been debating whether to try citgo sea and snow or 7000 oil. Saber left my 395 piston looking good but want to try other oils that are cheaper. If there cheaper and just as good why pay more?

That's why I just ordered the yamalube it was a reasonable price and has some great recommendations on here.

Saber is locally accessible for me to purchase. Think I ought to give it a try or send away for some motel or yamalube? Suggestions?

Try the Sabre first. If its close to you, buy a bottle to fit your tank size. Give it a try and see how you like it. See how your saw does on it. Many members on here have reported good results with it.
That’s better! I think I shall try that.:)
