I'm really kind of settled on a builder 385. As I said in the first post, I fully understand that a trade would get me an incomplete or blown 385 in need of an overhaul.

Here is my thread on it, last page is what the link is to and where it shows pics of it going back together and what I did. Mods are simple and basic, BG delete and lower transfer blending, nothing else. I could have sworn I took more pics and showed the work I did, but it seems I did not. It really is a good runner despite having a blue 13.3K coil in it. http://opeforum.com/threads/bringing-a-dead-359-back-to-life.1468/page-4

Well, it's alot of wishy-washy back and forth on my part deciding what direction to go with it. Not very interesting at all really, but be my guest. :)
Interested in the 59. Considering building a Huqy race saw. Where does this fall into the 4cube 5 cube bit?
Next year brings new stuff and stuff.

It's 59cc. Running a conversion calculator on google says it is 3.6 cubic inch. A bit short of your 4-5 cube range if I am understanding the "cube" term correctly. 4-5 cube should be 372 size.

1 mm stroke would get me there. Is there a full circle piston to fit that bore?

A high pin setting would be nice.

I have been having a long love affair with 385 low tops, wide clutch cover and 4 point pro saftey felling spikes. It's just perfect in the hands with a 32 or even a 36" bar... I like a 288 but the vibe difference with a 385 is just to much to overlook for me...
