Just what the title says.
112cc's of stump pullin big wood chewin beast. Homelite 990G,This is the
saw that was in the for sale section. A fellow member lived close to the seller
and offered his help. He was able to meet up with the seller and grab it for
me then pack and ship. He is an ace. Couldn't have done it without him. The
saw needed some tlc so it got new points, cond, carb kit, fuel line and a good
used rear handle. It now runs excellent. It came with a much shorter bar so I
decided to slap this nice 48 inch roller nose with 1/2 pitch chain on it.

I fixed one of these a month or so ago:
HomeLite XL 10045A.jpg
It took awhile (new fuel line, new grommets, etc.), but I got it started and it ran like a champion -- XL 10045A.

I like these old buzzards.

There's an overview. The top handle poulan obviously isn't part of the Homelite group. Has saws like 550, 650, 750 and a couple other misc ones that aren't pictured. I haven't run any of them but triaged them and most will be runners with fuel system work. (ie, ran with mix into carb)

Saw looks terrible....you should send it to me.
You should have seen it when I got it. This saw looked like death warmed over -- packed with more crap than a barnyard. I spent half my time just cleaning it up before I could determine what was wrong with it. No wonder that it sat in a shed for 20 years or more. I'm surprised it wasn't sold for scrap steel.

That's a pretty nice pile, but it would only keep Lee busy for about three days.
I've never done anything with "the pile" other than put it up on one of the mezzanine's in the shop. Well, I actually did go through the saws to see what they needed. Most of them were runners when they were put into storage years ago. Hence they all need fuel system work. I'm not a Homelite guy and don't really have a need or desire to use any of these. Thought it would be something someone could make a buck on if they don't mind working on them for free... The Homelite 750 should recoup a good portion of it just by itself.
I've also got a barn find, sorry condition C-51 that goes with this. And a Homelite 360 in nice condition but no spark. Neither of those are pictured in the "pile" and aren't connected in any way but are Homelites so they belong together.
This Homelite line up belonged to a tree service guy in Pennsylvania that died. They were stored in the attic of a garage for a long, long time before is son finally decided to part with them. Apparently, there was a lot more saw rubble that had been dealt with early on but they kept the good stuff which became non runners after years of storage. I'm not really interested in fixing and selling them one at a time. I want to move the entire lot.
