It's funny I bought 2 2012 macks new...and a 2015 new triaxle dumps...spend 200.000.00 apiece and can't make it 50000 miles before repairs needed....buy a 40000 dollar pickup and drive it forever before repairs needed.

I bought new trucks thinking downtime would be less...boy was that a dumb thought
It used to be the other way around. A truck would get 2 or 3 million miles on a couple rebuilds and routine maintenance. To get that out of yours will cost an arm and a leg.

I've got three project saws in the works right now.......

The BP-1 I started last fall is all apart, I've got most of the parts I need, but still have have yet to get the repairs made on the fuel tank/gearbox.

Then there's the Stihl 034 I bought last week for 40 bucks. It's torn down, hydrosonic cleaning is done, just gotta order a new P/C for her and a carb kit.

And lastly, a Stihl 041AV I'm building for our upcoming GTG at the end of May. It'll have a DP muffler, timing bump and some other minor tweaks. I'll be giving it away at the GTG...

How have all you guys been? It's been a while since I posted, busy as hell doing tree removals on top of working my real job, not to mention admin'ing over at FHC

I know you are buddy, I was checking out the pics from the NY GTG, looks like you guys and gals all had a great time! Was glad to see the Fortsch family there with y'all. We were out in Michigan at another GTG or else we'd have been up there with ya.

It was real cool meeting Linda and Heidi. Fantastic folks.

Would have been good to meet you too.

New York was a blast for me. That far upstate.......it's nice country, and fine people.
