Going to be getting a bench soon lol. Gonna do free labor for a friend getting the carb changed out on their tiller and they are going to give me an old metal teachers desk. Was going to buy one of those hardwood work bench from harbor freight but heck this saves $120 and is much better made in sure.

Hasnt done much chainsaw stuff in the past, most of my time had gone to firewood, not to forget the boring splitting & stacking firewood work.
Finished a 42 special muffler modd, pipe is from 262.




Finished, and saw has already left me, with a few other saws as well....


346 XPG cable protector, it's kinda hidden in their IPL. Bought two of them, wasnt 100% sure it was the one I was after until I picked them up, ordered 5 more of them

My bench has another 500cc Polaris Ranger single cylinder engine on it.
Little oil & no coolant at oil, required a full strip n build.
Luckily I had my little fella helping keep the bolts sorted

Both kits were around $2000au in total.
That was probably 15yrs ago now, I've added an extra cutter/pilots & blades in that time.
Yes they do all your small engines, including gx160 hondas...where room is limited.
They are very high quality tools

My bench is an old door and a scrap piece of ugly green counter top.

One of the guys pulled into work the other day and said that the trailer was making a funny noise going down the road. I am going to tattoo a picture of a grease gun on their foreheads so every time they look in a mirror they will be reminded of what one looks like.

Don't do many Stihl saws of this size. MS 066...almost a ms 660 .


I work on more of the 50...60 cc class saws. Spanking new and ready for there owner to collect.

How many miles on the motor? We have a bunch of D13's and D11's at work and haven't had any major issues yet.

This particular engine has 800k kms. The D13 engines are known for having injector issues. There's been several updates to the injectors over the years but nothing Volvo has done seems to have fixed the issues. I probably change 3 sets of injectors a week on average.

All I care is that it works! Lol figure I'll spray a little diesel in the ball bearings of the drawers to clean them out and re lube and should be good to go. Like your setup too

It's funny I bought 2 2012 macks new...and a 2015 new triaxle dumps...spend 200.000.00 apiece and can't make it 50000 miles before repairs needed....buy a 40000 dollar pickup and drive it forever before repairs needed.

I bought new trucks thinking downtime would be less...boy was that a dumb thought

I had all the finances situated to buy my own tri axle last winter. Glad I wimped out and found a great guy to drive for instead.
