Took a day off from work, whacked these two white oaks with the 6400. The part of the yard you see in between the trees and the shed used to be all trees until I made some investments on some products from Hamburg.

Paid for a ten foot bushhog.
Put out a round bale.
Cut the grass for the first time this year. Dang Cub Cadet didn't miss a beat. No ethanol gas is worth the extra money.

Went mushroom hunting this morning, mostly a waste of time except for a small amount of them and a little exercise. After I got home I got the old Redmax trimmer out and weed ate around a few stumps in the yard. Shoveled a little gravel into a muddy ditch with the rest of my energy...

Today Groundi and I did sectional take downs of two trees. Did most of the vertical work with my 40' ladder but still was standing on spikes way longer than I wanted to. It required a lot more rigging than I estimated and thus we way underbid the job. However, it was friends, they fed us lunch and we socialized. All in all a good day as everything hit the ground where it was supposed to. We were working around buildings, fences, yard lighting and a pool. Really liking the Maasdam rope puller as we made several pulls with it. The Altec chipper didn't give any grief (probably for the first time ever, lol) and we finished up and headed out...

I hope you have a good sized horse to run that. If that is a 3pt that is a big unit. I try to keep at least 100hp on a 7ft

I know I'm old when I look forward to the good weather on the weekend so I can cut my grass and start cleaning up the property.. And feeling accomplished after running OPE all day.

I've lost count of the dead ash trees I've cut for my neighbor he has me cut them off his fences he has over two hundred acres this blocked our atv trail.

Finally made it back home after being away for a couple months...feels good to be home!! Been mia for a while...sneaking in every once in a while. Didn't have beans for service where I was staying.
Did a bunch of yard work...as well as the Easter thing!! Hope everyone had a safe weekend

Pulled down a large very dead pine tree today. Roped it and wanted to get tension on the rope to make sure the tree wouldn't snap off once we started pulling on it. When I tensioned the rope, the tree broke off at the ground so I just kept the truck moving and we had the thing on the ground without getting a saw out of the truck. I had problems with my saw so Groundi bucked up much of it with her little MS180 as she was cutting the whole time I had the carb disassembled on the tailgate of the truck. Finally got back in action and did the largest cuts at the butt. The landowner was pleased we got the tree down between his ornamentals.

Spent time again today looking for an MS660. Haven't used it for a few months and it's nowhere to be found. It's not that small of a saw but I sure hope I'm overlooking it... I lost my chaps a while back and those eventually showed up so I'm hoping this will be a similar situation. Don't know how it would have gone missing but it sure seems to be hiding well. This is my most valuable saw.

Bragged on that Cub Cadet to soon. Busted a tierod end(had a spare on hand). Then the deck belt give out. No spare. Still got dang near all the grass cut.

Had a great day with my son, daughters, grandchildren and brother cutting firewood for the summer cabin. What a day, 65 degrees and sunny. Cut 10 trees about 12" diameter, 1 - 18", and 1 - 30" all sand oaks, dead and most of the bark gone. Beautiful firewood. Worked out the 346xp, 357xp, 036 Pro, 359 and almost for forgot the MMWS 357xp form the 60cc shoot out build. What a saw! Thanks @Mastermind. Next up is a splitting and stacking day.

Finally got some more run time on the 064. Buddy called me up and asked if I wanted to help cut some logs his folks had delivered. Damn right I do.

It rained the whole time.. The used dog stayed in the back of the truck. He doesn't like the rain so much.

T-Maxx! I had one of those back about 12 years ago. The TRX2.5 was fairly new when I got mine. That thing was a blast, kind of been thinking about getting another one here recently
