Oh heck who knows. I believe he left another site also. Lord knows I get myself in pickles in places so I am not one to say a thing. The older I get the more outspoken I get.
I have a picture of my father on my frig and I look at him all the time knowing I am getting as growly as he was

I know what you mean Bill, I have my dad's pic on my phone & look at it everyday, iam proud that iam just as ornery and hard headed as he was, but you don't burn bridges you build them, you were one of the guys at the other place, that did your best to get that kid to slow down & learn but he didn't listen to you, all he had to do was sit back & learn from guys with tons of life experience that would be willing to teach him, unfortunately as these young are today they think they know everything.

Yeah, he left Arborist Site on his own cause he got sick of all the chit on there.

I still participate on Arborist Site, but not nearly as much as I used to.

That's funny.

Years ago I had this kid in woods class for 3 years that was always trying to push folks buttons. He was actually a likeable kid that came from a tough background being bounced from foster home to foster home. I really enjoyed him. One day he was using the table saw to rip the pieces down for a drawer on his nightstand. He came to me as white as a ghost (folks he was a black kid) and says "Mr. G , I think I cut my finger". I looked and said "sheet Devin, you got three of em" Well 20 minutes later the ambulance arrives and after a 20 minute ride it was too late. They patched up two of them but he lost his middle finger. His entire senior year when we would get to joking each other I would say "hey Devin, why don't you give me the finger" He would smile and hold up his stub. I really missed him when he graduated.

I've rarely done anything other than a permaban. But, I have made mistakes and revisited the ban.

If you think I acted harshly and should reverse the ban, I'd like to talk about it.

My thinking was this....he is a kid that is only interested in self promotion to try and become some YouTube influencer. He has no actual interest in this forum or it's members aside from steering people to his YouTube channel. So rather than allowing this to become a bunch of back and forth, I just nipped it off.

What do you think?

I agree. He was told multiple times to quit promoting himself outside the YT thread. If you didn’t, it was just a matter of time before Brad did.

You nailed it Randy. I have no problem with him being banned. He was already on more than 3 strikes with the Yoo-hoo toob promoting.

I'm probably the worst in the world for second guessing myself. I am also prone to making snap decisions, then regretting it.

I need this sort of conversation to happen.
