What is your favorite HAND tool brand?

I LOVE the old craftsman stuff, but now I am all in on the German stuff I have so much Wera stuff now and I want to get some Knipex pliers and my own wire stripper
(I borrow my dad's wire stripper).

I don't think Dall cares so much about brand as he does length and girth.

As for actual hand tools, I don't own any. I might get a callous or scratch and there goes my hand modeling career.

Wright gets my vote due to being almost 100% domestic production with *domestic steel. No other tool maker can make that claim that I am aware of.

Proto is not on the list.
Channellocks still made in PA.

The Euro stuff is pretty nice, but I still like to buy Made in USA tools if I can.

In the Poll above, you clearly have something against Snap-On and I don’t see Matco listed. Both are excellent tool brands, with great warranties and tools that are reliable. They are expensive, yes, but for the professional, they are a great solution.

Agreed. I gave up driving truck and went back to wrenching last year at 52. Gearwrench stuff is quite reasonable for the quality you get.

VASELINE should be included with some purchases of the high end Hand Tools and obviously Pittsburg Forge Doesn't cut the grade.
My brother has MATCO, SNAPON and CORNWELL.
I like the CORNWELL tool dealers attitude best.
