I picked up a Black (Carbon Fiber) and White Farmertec G372XP Pro for comparison purposes to existing Husqvarna 372xp saws I have. Upon removal out of the shipping box I disassembled the saw, replaced the piston and cylinder with a ported 52mm kit and a aftermarket pop up piston. Squish was .040 leading me to disassemble, cut the base, and cut .010 additional pop up into the piston. With .020 squish I now have 160 psi of compression.
I removed the 7 tooth sprocket and replaced such with a 8 tooth. Modified the muffler outlet and welded on a screened pipe. The saw pulls a 20” bar and chain through red oak well.
Two tanks of fuel through it so far. Should be a fun not so low budget saw. The stickers and serial number plate could use some beautication by the factory. Plastics won’t be fun to track down if damaged.
Zero pictures of the (re) build. I was too determined to have the saw running and cutting.
