I admire your commitment to the Slacker memes.

We used to go pheasant hunting on opening day up in the thumb at a friends grandpa’s farm just after the corn was cut. It’s not even worth going anymore. We shot more rabbits than anything. I have always enjoyed rabbit hunting especially snowshoes in the Huron National Forest

Speaking of rabbit hunting has anyone heard from DJ? (Been so long I have to search for his screen name…)

Diesel jumped 45cent from yesterday. Currently $5.40 gallon.
That's $1.40 for our metric Brody's. Sure hope you farmer's been stashing the last couple of weeks. Biodiesel, well we all know what happens when that commodity surges. Dang it.
3.84 litres per gallon right @Kiwioilboiler ?

Theres no real reason for this. It's price gouging plain and simple. We get about 3% of our oil from Russia.

Fuel is stranded commodity, the price at the pump reflects what is happening at Wall Street.
Also multiple reports I heard were at 10%.

From Forbes.....

"Only 3.5% of of U.S. imported oil came from Russia in 2021. That, by the way, is the greatest percentage in at least two decades"

Crude oil, yes. Then you have to add refined and partly finished products to get the bigger picture.
From Reuters;
The United States imported 672,000 barrels per day of Russian crude and refined products last year, according to Energy Information Agency data. Of that, 30%, or 199,000 bpd was crude, while 473,000 bpd was refined products.

I see.

Good information.
