Screw china! Bunch of communist pricks steal everything and reproduce sh*t copies of everyones ideas and designs. I will pay extra not to support them and get better quality products while doing so.

I agree they have steal everything , the funny is that even the peoples know this they still want to buy garbage things saying that something that is 5 times cheaper have the same quality ( materials , product methods , test controls , safety controls ) than the original have

For sure the someone with no name will care much more for the quality , for the safety , for the materials and he spent much more to the test controls than the stihl , husqvarna and many others care and spent for giving the best that they can

The stihl , husqvarna and many responsible companies make recalls if something its not ok loosing tones of money and maybe the fame of theirs names
until now i dont have see any of theese china companies or any others similar to chinas to make a recall or to come out and say to the customers
sorry we make mistake

Maybe Stihl does but doubt Husky make many recalls.
Imaginate if Husky should done recall on their beautiful 340/345/346/353/357/359 plastic intake in their time, hell, they would gone bankrupt!

Cast material in the Caber rings is as good as OEM , the cast material in most Chinese rings I have seen is questionable and seem brittle .
Think about the forces and temps those rings are exposed to in an engine running 12k RPM plus !!

most had no issue like you, quite many got issue with the part wall intake with airleak as result, it wasnt a perfect system.
I can go a bit further with Husky, 357 auto decomp system.

Rings, oem or cabers for me

I like Cabers. I suggest them often to people who want me to put their "cheapest I could find" new top ends on their saws. So far none have wanted to spend the extra $10-20 for the Cabers. None of them have been back with low compression issues either though. My 038 Magnum came alive when I put the new Cabers in it though.

I generally find that if you need rings you also need a piston.

That's true , I've had real good luck with the Hyway kits from HLS , the quality has really impressed me .......however the rings do not and get replaced with Cabers . Not taking any chances with a new jug and piston for a few extra $$ and the customer doesn't get the say in it .

I've been building a bunch of 066's using a single ring hyway piston from hl supply, the black coated ring that comes with it I actually prefer to cabers, after a couple cuts there seated. A caber is a good ring but so are the hyway ones,at least that's my experience with them.
