I could never understand trailer queening something. after the internet boom when all my friends were buying corvettes to go 15 mph on sunday down the blvd, I bought my first brand new truck and lift kit, 35 inch wheels, MT Jumbo Mudders, had the engine blue printed and balanced, all in all spent 85k on a truck. Then I beat her like Ike beat Tina. I swear until my divorce that was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Anyway i can't see having something as violent as a chainsaw and not running it. That would be like having a gun but not shooting it.....

Gosh a Stihl 064 and a 10mm 044 were the last two saws I picked up for me. Oh yeah I forgot about a 394xp that slipped in between those two Stihls. Not saying that I want them as a new model, I want that protanium activated laser beam saw that spews out wood smoke smells from the logs she's a cuttin'. Of course it would come witha adjustable beam/bar length feature.

Guy in his mid 80s was here last week ,said he used to cut with brand new titans and mercurys when they came out .
Those are cool stories. My grandfather tells about a Titan Blue Streak he spent three months wages on (imagine that today...) to do custom work for the REA and local farmers.

Some really good choices up above.
I had a Solo Twin, 090, and the rotary Dolmar in my hands at the GTG :)
I love my 064s, 10mm 044s, 346XP, and 051s.
A nice original blue streak is in my future as well.
I have to do a little more research on some of those others, looking forward to the reading.

For a pie in the sky brand new saw I would go with the larger Solo Twin model.

at the 2014/15 dealer day locally the Stihl territory rep showed me a video of a fully restored Wolf saw with original wolf chain in action
indeed bold technology for its time!!
I would love to see one in person
