Thanks, XP! You've been most helpful along the way... You're right on the chain. I know I've got a lot to learn. Heck, I've only been at this less than two months! Besides my lame sharpening skills, the chain is a mess. I've hit rocks and who knows what all with it. Some of the cutters are super short. Some are longer. It's a hot mess. To do this right I would have bought a new bar and chain, but like I said above, "my first run could have been sweeter, but not by much".... I'm super happy to have taken something from the junk pile and turned it into what it is....

On the internet thing, I appealed, but they denied my appeal. I'm too bad to the bone--clean family guy, not an internet troll, never even comment on other videos, only a few short saw videos uploaded to my channel, I'm a real threat to the world.... I've been doing some searches. It seems to be a fairly widespread problem.... Nothing to be done....

What video host are you using now?
Yeah YouTube is closing down channels seems to be any channels that don't spread love and peace?
Chainsaws are big bad things they shut my channel down no reason I appealed it's very rare but I got it back WTF? for now anyway but dought for long so looking for a new video host to use.

Anyways with your saw I wouldn't worry about numbers and such for now.
Just look at it like an air pump well that's what it is actually just look at and work out how you can get more flow and air in and out by grinding moding things for now.
Don't worry about fuel the carby will take care of sending fuel in with any extra air flow you gain. Just my 2c doing ya 1st saw.
As said chain is everything really no matter how powerful fast a saw is it's nothing with a crap chain.

From what I've read about what's going on with YouTube they are big enough now and was allways there plan. It's not cheap to host video's for free they don't need or what to pay for small channels anymore that don't make them money also in this latest purging anyone deemed riff raff not spreading the love is gone.

Well that sucks. Had no idea that was going on, guess I can look forward to my channel being gone soon. We’ll all just have to take burst photos to show how good our saws are cutting lol

Started a new ytube channel with a different account and updated the video links... We'll see what happens with that...

Ok, they just deleted my new account. Same message (below). I had two short videos on chainsaw work. I am 100% convinced that it has to do with my posting them on this site. There was no problem before I did that. On both accounts. It's only when I embed the vids here that they delete my account... Wow....

(I'm going to try one more thing...deleting the embedded links in this thread and then appealing the suspension with ytube....)

You do realize that there are hundreds of other videos from many different users on this site.....

Posting your video on this forum is not the problem.

Fair enough. But embedding them on say.....ArboristSite might have the same results if something is odd about your videos.

That might be a good test.

I created the new account. I'll upload some vids and just them sit for a couple days and see what happens. If they don't boot me though, I'll be real hesitant about posting them even on AS....

Also on an other note... I had a warning from youtube.... yes a completely other note... I put up a vid... in the filter pic pm's. It got pulled due to (some bullcrap) reason other than it was porn.... did I complain... no.. I just took it... did I think someone reported it, yes....I did... at first...but afterwards... I thought a computer compared the Groning voice of a woman and background music. And decided it was not fit But she was fit in my eyes..




You tube works in silly ways... well the computer that does it...is stupid.

Btw... my vid was a not listed vid...you could only see it if you had the link...
I’ve yet to try a private vid... and see if others can see it if you give the link/url..
