Your first gun purchase

I was given several growing up. My first being a H&R Topper Jr. 410. I still have that gun and it has been passed to my kids. The first gun I purchased was Mossberg 835 and a Ruger 10/22 on the same form. That was in 2000. My 21st birthday I purchased a Kimber 1911 full-size.

I have that same .410

The chamber is a Shilen/Bentz.
I got lucky on the shank. It only took a very light touch with fine steel wool on the receiver to get the barrel seated. It was a tight fit.
