recleaned my wt669. You know how you shouldn't blow the high and low speed adjustor orings out with compressed air? Well I did. One has joined several carb springs and small bolts in the black hole
Anyone know where I can get one? Checked ereplacement and other places. They appear to be unobtainium. Or, anyone got one they can spare. Either way I need some help. Not wanting to by a new carb. Thanks much

Are they the same size? If so, can't you take the remaining one to NAPA(or such), and match it up for a replacement?

Already tried three different small o-rings. Won't fit. May try trimming some

you need to check the nozzle check valve first. can you send me a pic of the metering side of the carb with the plate off. that is the side with the needle and spring, send me that and i walk you through the steps of testing it. it is also a good test to learn, i do every carb before i install a kit.

to test the nozzle you need to hold you thumb over the metering side. pull the high needle put you lips over the needle housing. you can also use a small piece of fuel line and push it in the bore where the high needle goes. you should be able to blow through it but you should not be able to suck any air back. i tried to load the walbro service manual but it want let me

Always wondered what the purpose of the check valve is. Will the saw function with a busted valve? Can someone give a short explanation?
Also, does carb cleaner through the high speed port damage the valve? Same with compressed air?

Reassembled the carb, removed the high needle, placed fuel line in the hole and blew through it -blows good. Sucked through it - could suck but not near as much volume as when blowing. Could even have been coming through the high port and the fuel line interface. Hard to say.
What is the purpose of this valve?
