They're called a tamper proof torx. Should be able to get a bit or socket set at napa. Or wherever you get tools from.

Yes. I used an old road sign and inner tube. I might have just used innertube behind the intake on intake side. Used a blockoff plate and tube on exhaust side.

Tire patches is what I use and generally the muffler unless I want it out of the way

Ive got a few big chunks of rubber like is used on big flanged pipe which works. But is just a touch stiff. Been using rubber from an old pair of rubber boots. Ive never used and rigid backing on it, just the rubber. I always rub the tiniest ount of oil into the rubber

I cleaned the p/c up with a little sand paper and all seems well but I can't remember where these go.

I have both of them for the muffler but only three that go on the cylinder bolts. Happen to know if there might only be 3 and if so, where do they go?
