After one tank. No need to file at all. Stretch was very similar to Oregon. Had to stop once to tighten it. Chain itself did get pinched a couple times cutting off some heavily loaded limbs Bar was completely buried for most of the tank.
Chips were quite thick so rakers /drags are low on this stuff. I noticed it stopped the saw a couple times. That’s not something that really happens with that setup. I couldn’t feel the vibes through the saw even with worn out av rubbers I’m thinking this stuff is semi chisel instead of chipper. Whatever it is cuts well
I did get a tank through a 346 with some Oregon stuff on it. To be fair the Oregon was .325 vs the Windsor 3/8 The Oregon was also chisel. The Oregon needs a nice little touch up / sharpening. This stuff seems the very same as when I started with it. Never hit any dirt today with either This stuff also cut the shaggy stuff /thicker bark. All in I’m liking this stuff very well. I’ll get some dead trees somewhere to continue this
