Willow oak

Got a load of willow oak, how does it compare dry time to other oaks? The red I have split was exceptionally wet.

These rounds are crazy heavy and in strange lengths so I will be trimming them down

Not sure I have ever split it before. Will give the fiskars duo a fun time

I just cut up a couple of willow oak blowdowns in October. They split just like straight grained red oak.
This is my first time harvesting it for firewood, I assume drying time would be the same as red oak. Hopefully someone with some experience can chime in.
