When did you start burning

Dang, you must go through a bit of wood. How much per year?

I would guess that I burn 10-12 cords??

All summer I can load it every 4-5 days. I end up forgetting about it and then I have to start a fire.

It doesn't take much and it seems like there's always enough wood scraps around the farm to burn all summer.

We fired ours up the last week of October only because we had a cold spell and the house started getting cold. Fire went out one time first week of Nov. during a warm spell. I loaded it up at 4:30 this morning like usual. Will load it up again this evening at around 6pm. Usually fill the box about 2/3 full. This morning only needed about 3 sticks of wood as there was no wind last night and the temp only got down to 31F.
