I probably could dig you up a short 2x4 intake that's got great street manners with 2carters or edelbrocks. Is it an Oval port engine? While that's very cool don't be resistant to the LS variants! Lots of available juice and I've had some nice rectangular port money pit 454-496 engine's, but the computer and superior design of the LS (funny part or the annoying part is that most of the 454's I ran were LS6/LS7 production and crate engine's, s if I don't call them rectangle port 454's most of the people today think I'm talking about the modern ls's. I don't imagine your shooting for ultimate performance, but instead for a good fun street vehicle, which either engine family I capable of. The advantage that the modern one has is tunability, drivability and fuel economy and if you want to go fast its a little easierIs going to be getting a 454 out of a 73 chevy. None of that ls stuff for me.
This is a stock 6.0 with head studs and injector's and a turbo.
I don't know anything about this car, just the first one I found on YouTube, but there are a million more just like it.
Just in case you're wondering what a hairdryer sounds like in your truck, here you go. Not peer pressure
